This course is designed to explore advanced topics in paint analysis and interpretation.  Analysis schemes and instrumentation for paint analysis will be presented, and capabilities/limitations of instrumentation will be explored.  An in-depth look into data analysis will be covered.  The course will also provide information directed at expanding the student’s knowledge base on the preparation, composition, and variance in paint systems.  The class will conclude with an exploration of reporting schemes and capabilities, as well as the underlying populations that allow for more robust discrimination and comparison of samples.

Learning Objectives:

-Experience assessing and classifying challenging samples

-In depth knowledge of paint systems

-Understanding of verbal scale for paint comparisons

Course Duration: 2.5 days, Day 1-2: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Day 3: 8:00am to 12:00am

Course Materials: A copy of the presented material, and data for the discussion/exercises will be provided.

Lunch is not included in registration.

*Be sure to register by this date.  The workshop will be cancelled if its minimum number of registrants is not met by the cancellation date.  Registration will remain open after the cancellation date if the minimum is met.  Registration costs will rise by $100 after this date.
