The Department of Anthropology at Baylor University seeks a permanent full-time lecturer (non-tenure track) to teach four courses per fall/spring semesters in a thriving forensic science minor. The ideal candidate will contribute to multiple courses in the current curriculum, serve as an advisor to the student forensic society, and mentor undergraduate students on research projects who have interests in forensic science. This appointment is a renewable 9-month full-time, benefits-eligible, teaching-focused position with a 6-year promotion path to Senior Lecturer for successful candidates and a 12-year promotion path to Teaching Professor for highly successful candidates.
